Visually, the High Line is a light sculpture,
a svelte line that gives off light without
revealing its source.
The new floor lamp by Josep Lluís Xuclà
generates light indirectly by reflection,
and uniquely, the light does
not bounce off the ceiling, but off the wall.
Both rise above the black base,
which defines the optimal distance at
which to place the lamp from the wall
to generate an ideal light source.
